Trivia[]

  • This is the very first episode of the series after its pilot.
  • The answer is FRIEND.
  • This episode marks the first time all 4 of the super readers use their powers.
  • The title refers to the 1933 Disney short film of the same name.
  • Wonder Red's ALL Song was at a higher pitch and a faster speed like in some subsequent Season 1 and Season 3 episodes since this is the very first episode of the series after its pilot. This was fixed and re-recorded into a normal pitch and normal speed in the UN/ALL Rhyming Time song and starting with Goldilocks and the Three Bears, one of her many (Insert Word Family) will be in a normal pitch for the rest of the series but it will still be in a faster speed until The Elves and the Shoemaker for now.
  • This is the only episode in which the storybook characters don't say goodbye because they were very busy.'
  • This is the only time Princess Presto spells words incorrectly.
  • The title also does refer to Saban’s Favorite Fairy Tales’ adaptation, and the 1996 Crayola adaptation called “The 3 Little Pigs The Movie”.

Goofs[]

  • On PBS airings, when the Super Readers say the answer "FRIEND", the scene where Super WHY! uses the word "GOOD" in the story replaced the scene of the Super Readers saying the aforementioned answer in the Book Club. This is corrected on international airings.
  • When Wonder Red and Super You roll the ball out of the way to get to the wolf, the scene is mirrored. This also happened when Princess Presto told Super You to take a bow for making the wolf big again by spelling the word "Big".
